War Museum

If you ever get the chance I'd strongly recommend a trip to the War Museum. Amazing yet sobering, it's an experience that stays with you long after you've left the building. From a life size recreation of a typical 1940's house to Nazi Propaganda this place has four floors of War memorobilia and artefacts. It's one of the best museums I've ever been to and unlike most things in london, it's completely FREE.

Established in 1972 and still going strong to this day, Margaret Howell has been a constant but understated presence on the British design scene. Always classic but with a fresh take on staples such as shirts and trenches, she is by far one of my favourite designers and if I could afford to do so I'd live and die in her stuff. When filming 'The Shining' Jack Nicholson insisted on wearing his own Margaret Howell corduroy jacket resulting in Stanley Kubrick ordering 12 replicas. If it's good enough for Jack, it's good enough for me:

I draw all the time but most of it's nonsensical ramblings from my brain. Every now and then when I sit down and concentrate on one particular thing something ok can have the oppurtunity to materialize. My friend Hazel asked me to draw something ok for her brother, so this is what I did.
